Crinali26 - History, Ozzano dell'Emilia

A circular walk along the ‘Entro le rive’ trail around the tower of San Pietro. The walk will be followed by a concert by PAOLO PROSPERINI and GUGLIELMO PAGNOZZI, who will move through different styles and composers as if in a single, never-ending composition.

‘Entro le rive’ in the hills of Ozzano dell'Emilia is a picturesque historical nature trail that we will follow for 6 km through the village of San Pietro, an ancient castle dating back to the early Middle Ages, now nestled within the Gessi Bolognesi Regional Park, which preserves ancient legends waiting to be discovered. We will also learn about the geological features of selenite, moonstone, and its ancient use in the construction of the city of Bologna.

Recommended equipment:

° Mountain footwear: hiking boots (no trainers).

° Comfortable, layered clothing.

° Windbreaker or rain jacket.

° Sun hat and sun cream.

° Light rucksack, water (at least 1 litre per person).
