A walk from Riola, passing through beautiful stone villages such as Borgo La Scola, to Montovolo, where the concert by GASPARE DE VITO – Cosmo 777 will take place. The performance features a reworking of the sounds of nature, reintroduced into the environment that created them.
A route through the villages built from Montovolo sandstone.
A circular hike of approximately 18 km, rated as difficult, on the western slope of Montovolo.
The route begins by passing through the village of Riola, crossing the bridge over the River Limentra and continuing uphill along CAI trails to Borgo la Scola, with a picturesque view of the Rocchetta Mattei.
After a brief visit, the route continues through other stone-built hamlets and the village of Campolo until reaching the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Consolation in Montovolo, where the concert will take place.
At the end, the descent follows roughly the same route as the ascent, with a few detours, to return to Riola.

Recommended kit:
- mountain boots / hiking shoes
- comfortable layered clothing
- windcheater or rain jacket
- sun hat and sun cream
- lightweight rucksack with water (1.5 litres per person), packed lunch and snacks.
